Our Film Transfer Process
1. We clean, repair, splice (if necessary) and prepare the film before we run it. We can transfer 8mm, 16mm, Super 8mm, Super 8mm Sound film to DVD. Other formats also available for film transfer include: miniDV digital tape, .avi, .mpg, .wmv, to your external hard drive, uncompressed and compressed.
2. We transfer your film in a direct-to-digital
system. You can choose the format you would like - DVD, Digital Tape,
VHS, compressed and uncompressed formats etc. We highly recommend DVD as your viewable version and have us transfer to digital tape or hard drive as well. That way
you have a DVD for everyday use and an archival format for
the future.
3. After the film is transfered to digital, we enhance, color correct, add era-appropriate music (if desired) in our non-linear video editing systems.
4. We provide your film transfer on the media of your choice. Your DVD can also include main menu and chapter selection.
